-
10 years leading NZ delegations in international negotiations - over 8 years opening up export markets for NZ primary produce
-
2 years at the NZ Dairy Board

I’m running for Mayor of Queenstown Lakes District because I believe in collaborative
leadership that truly listens, respects diverse perspectives and builds lasting solutions.
With strong skills in chairing meetings, negotiating complex agreements and building
consensus, I bring both experience and a deep understanding of how to get things done.
My career has spanned central government and private enterprise—giving me insight into how policy
and business intersect to shape our community.
I’ve proudly called Queenstown home for over 13 years. I’m a passionate skier, recreational
skipper, motorsport enthusiast, and a lover of fine food and wine. Our natural environment is
second to none, and I’m committed to protecting it for future generations.
My daughter, Maya, grew up here, attended local schools, and graduated from Otago University.
She now works in the public sector in Wellington.
As I campaign for Mayor in 2025, I look forward to meeting residents across the district, hearing
your ideas and working together to shape a vibrant, sustainable future for our Lakes district.
Come to meet me, hear my thoughts and join the discussion on our future.
